If you are using a computer map or GPS, compare it to our directions, or you may find yourself heading in the wrong direction, or lost on the wrong road.
From Columbus via US Rt. 33:
- East through Lancaster towards Logan
- Exit Rt. 180. West towards Laurelville
- Go approximately 10 miles on Rt. 180
- Turn left on Rt. 374
- Go approximately 1 mile
- At top of hill turn right on Thompson Ridge Road
- Go approximately 6 miles
- Frontier Log Cabins will be on the left
- 18381 Thompson Ridge Rd., Laurelville, Ohio 43135
From Columbus via US Rt. 23:
- Go South to Circleville
- Take Rt. 56 East to Laurelville
- Go approximately 15 miles
- Stay on Rt. 56 through town for approximately 2 blocks
- Look for Laurelville Elementary School on the left
- The next street is Thompson Ridge Road
- Turn left and go approximately 3 miles
- Frontier Log Cabins will be on the right
- 18381 Thompson Ridge Rd., Laurelville, Ohio 43135
From Cincinnati area:
- Rt. 71 north to Rt. 35 east
- Exit on Rt. 753 at end of exit go LEFT
- Go approximately 2 miles to 4 way stop
- Turn right, this is Rt. 22 east to Circleville
- Stay straight through Circleville
- At east end of town, Rt. 22 will turn left, IGNORE, there will be a united dairy and Kroger on the corner go straight, this is now Rt.56 east to Laurelville
- Go approximately 15 miles into Laurelville
- At 5 way stop Rt.56 will Y to the right, go 2 blocks
- Look for Laurelville Elementary School on the left
- The next street is Thompson Ridge Road
- Turn left and go approximately 3 miles
- Frontier Log Cabins will be on the right

From Dayton/Springfield area:
- Take Route 35 east from your area, towards Chillicothe (approx. 40 miles) take the OH-159/Bridge St Exit.
- Turn Left onto N. Bridge St/ SR 159.
- Go 5.6 miles and turn right onto OH-180. Go approx. 12 miles into small town of Adelphi.
- At the 4 way stop in Adelphi turn left, go approx. 1 mile. Road ends at Route 56, turn right go one mile into Laurelville.
- At 5 way stop go between the hardware store and Laurelville Plaza staying on Route 56, go 2 blocks, look for Laurelville school on your left, the next street is Thompson Ridge Road turn LEFT.
- Go approx. 3 miles, Frontier Log Cabins is on your right.
- Pull into our asphalt driveway at the garage and come to our front door; we will get you to your cabin within a few minutes.
From Cleveland area:
- Take I-71 south to Columbus area, take I-270 East around Columbus to Route 33 East to Lancaster.
- Take Route 33 East from Columbus towards Lancaster.
- Stay on Route 33 (DO NOT take the Lancaster Business Route) continue on Rt. 33 for approx. 15 miles to Exit Route 180 Laurelville, turn right.
- Go approximately 10 miles on Route 180, DO NOT Turn Right on 374!!! (FOLLOW signs for Rock house state park) turn left on Route 374, go approx. 1 mile.
- At top of hill turn right on Thompson Ridge Road.
- Go approximately 6 miles. Frontier Log Cabins will be on the left.
- Pull into our asphalt driveway at the garage and come to our front door; we will get you to your cabin within a few minutes.
From Athens area:
- Take Route 33 North/West past Logan to the exit for Route 180 Laurelville.
- At exit turn left. Go approx.
- 10 miles on Route 180, DO NOT Turn Right on 374!!! (FOLLOW signs for Rock house state park) turn left on Route 374, Go approx. 1 mile (just past the sign for Rock House state park) and turn right onto Thompson ridge rd.
- Go 6 miles to Frontier Log Cabins on the left.
- Pull into our asphalt driveway at the garage and come to our front door; we will get you to your cabin within a few minutes.
From Chillicothe area:
- Take Route 23 north approx. 3 miles.
- Take Route 159 and go approx. 2 miles.
- Turn right on Route 180 and go app. 12 miles into small town of Adelphi.
- At the 4 way stop in Adelphi turn left, go approx. 1 mile. Road ends at Route 56, turn right go one mile into Laurelville.
- At 5 way stop go between the hardware store and Laurelville Plaza staying on Route 56, go 2 blocks, look for Laurelville school on your left, the next street is Thompson Ridge Rd. turn LEFT.
- Go approx. 3 miles, Frontier Log Cabins is on your right.
- Pull into our asphalt driveway at the garage and come to our front door; we will get you to your cabin within a few minutes.
From Eastern Ohio Cambridge area:
- Take I-70 east towards Columbus take Route 37 South/East to Lancaster, going approx. 20 miles into Lancaster.
- Go 4-5 traffic lights to Main St turn Right.
- Proceed to 4th traffic light on Main St you should be at Route 33/Memorial Dr. you will turn left on Route 33, continue on Route 33 approx. 15 miles to Exit Route 180 Laurelville, turn right.
- Go approximately 10 miles on Route 180, DO NOT Turn Right on 374!!! (FOLLOW signs for Rock house state park) turn left on Route 374, go approximately 1 mile.
- At the top of hill, just past the Rock House parking lot, turn right onto Thompson Ridge Road (Look for our sign!).
- Go approximately 6 miles. Frontier Log Cabins will be on the left.
- Pull into our asphalt driveway at the garage and come to our front door; we will get you to your cabin within a few minutes.
From Toledo area:
- Take Route 75 south to Findlay, there take exit 156 Route 15 East which turns into Route 23 going into Columbus area.
- Take I- 270 East around Columbus to Route 33 East exit to Lancaster.
- Stay on Route 33 (DO NOT take the Lancaster Business Route) and continue on Route 33 app 15 mi. to Exit Route 180 Laurelville, turn right.
- Go approximately 10 miles on Route 180, DO NOT Turn Right on 374!!! (FOLLOW signs for Rock house state park) turn left on Route 374, go approximately 1 mile.
- At the top of hill, just past the Rock House parking lot, turn right onto Thompson Ridge Road (Look for our sign!).
- Go approximately 6 miles.
- Frontier Log Cabins will be on the left.
- Pull into our asphalt driveway at the garage and come to our front door; we will get you to your cabin within a few minutes.
